BUGKALOT CONFEDERATION is an over-all organization of the Bugkalot Tribe founded in 1967, based in the Philippines, particularly in the three provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino and Aurora.
Its main head office is located in Brgy. Ponggo, Nagtipunan, Quirino Province, with its membership is more or less 40,000 in all three provinces and every other places they are working. In the years 1967 up to 1997, Salvador Molina was the first over-all Chieftain of the Bugkalot, based in Maria, Aurora Province but before we called our chieftain as “DATU”. There was no SEC Registration during those time.
To modernize and level-up the standard of the leadership of our tribe, we registered our organization under Security and Exchange Commission in 1997 and the first election of an officers was done. All members of the Bugkalot was given the privilege to cast their vote for over-all Chieftain, vice over-all chieftain and the Board member of the organization.
